This work is a depiction of Major Ndlovu's journey in life after being faced by trials and tribulations . In this work Ndlovu emerges victorious covered in butterflies which are a symbol of hope. The presence of butterflies in the work also symbolizes Ndlovu's ancestors and the promise of a better tomorrow. The white beads , crabs, mentis represent a spiritual connection with Ndlovu's ancestors. White candles as a symbol of seeking guidance and the bell represents calling attention.
