Mnotho Ngema's artwork is about embracing and admiring the culture of black people. Ngema noticed a lack of self-confidence amongst black girls in his community due to the melanin in their skin. Ngema created this artwork to motivate black girls, to love their skin and embrace the beauty of melanin.
