Collection: Mmangaliso Nzuza

Mmangaliso Nzuza (b.1998 in Empangeni, South Africa; lives and works in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal) is best known for his figurative oil paintings that express his battle with social anxiety.

Nzuza completed a MA(Hons) Government, Policy and Society at the University of Edinburgh in 2022, after which he continued to resume his practice as a self-taught artist. Known for his cubism-influenced and rich texture-filled artworks, which tell a story that resonates with battling loneliness and navigating the self.
