I consider my art performance an ongoing journey toward healing and self-discovery. This journey has no fixed destination; it unfolds throughout a lifetime, marked by constant exploration and transformation. Over the years, my artistic path has taken many turns—from romanticism to surrealism to abstraction—each phase a pursuit of new forms, colours, and patterns. My work oscillates between the obvious and the subtle, navigating the dynamic interplay of structure and spontaneity.
Machines dominate my recent works.

While mechanical elements first appeared in my paintings in the 1980s as secondary motifs, they have now become my primary fascination. Machines—humanity’s creations—have shaped civilization from ancient tools of stone and bronze to today’s intricate technological marvels. Their evolution has fuelled industry, warfare, and daily life, making them both indispensable and formidable.
In the modern age, machines extend human capability in every field—agriculture, transportation, communication, and beyond. They inspire both awe and apprehension in me. Their power, precision, and relentless motion spark my imagination. I see them as living entities—locomotives charging forward like prehistoric beasts, aircraft slicing through the sky with the grace of swift predators, armoured vehicles exuding raw strength like an elephant in motion. Their presence is at once unsettling and mesmerizing.
By painting machines, I pay homage to the countless individuals who have dedicated their lives to their invention and evolution. My abstraction of machinery is not just a reflection of technology—it is an exploration of movement, energy, and the ever-expanding boundaries of human perception.
