The mind is the fish tank filled with water which represents our spiritual element with the mermaid being a representation of our ancestors who communicate with us. The older person is the guide which has all the knowledge and wisdom to guide us (young children). The tank represents our mind and soul the fish that are depicted as leaving the tank are following the guide. The use of blackness is symbolic of the uncertainty that the fish has when escaping the tank. Our fear is represented by the Sharks that travel through our past, present, and future(the triangle) in our search for tranquility(the ground).
